eastern shore soil + water conservation district

The Eastern Shore Soil and Water Conservation Mobile Classroom, which was designed and built inside of a 20' trailer, is an immersive underground experience that helps carry out the organization’s mission to teach and develop leadership in nature resource conservation through education. It features burrows of local animals, examples of plants, and infographic panels. The project was completed using a CNC router to cut foam on wood frame walls to create texture. The foam was then painted with textured paint. The trailer was covered with interchangeable graphics and outfitted with custom lighting and audio. A whiteboard on the rear door of the trailer helps with lessons in the classroom.
