An exhibit designed for the College Park Aviation Museum in College Park, MD. Situated in an old airplane hangar, the museum has an open floorplan with planes, models, and other artifacts on the ground floor. The mezzanine level looks down on the floor and has five long sections of blank walls the museum decided to turn into a colorful, three-dimensional history of flight complete with facades of typical aircraft hangars of each period. As visitors walk down the mezzanine hallway, they can turn and look at the corresponding aircrafts on the ground below.
